Chris has held various honorary positions in the Charitable sector in Jersey including Chairman of the Association of Jersey Charities, Chairman of Sanctuary Trust and a trustee of Family Nursing and Homecare.
Chris is an Advocate of the Royal Court and his ‘day job’ is a lawyer with Ogier. Chris was a partner of that firm for 30 years until he semi-retired in 2012 and is now a Consultant.
I love working with people in the charitable sector as they really are dedicated, selfless and caring people who make such a difference to the lives of others. Although Dementia Jersey is a small charity, it has a big heart and really punches above its weight. The impact of dementia on people’s lives is enormous and to be able to support people both living with dementia, and their carers and family, and hopefully make a real difference is extremely rewarding.
Chris loves to travel and has experienced quite a few different forms of transport from the conventional train, plane and automobile to the less conventional camel, elephant, ice cream truck and ostrich!
