Eimear’s grandmother had Alzheimer’s for several years before sadly passing away in 2017 so she is especially pleased to be raising awareness and supporting Dementia Jersey and what we do. Eimear said ‘I feel privileged to be in a position where I can run this marathon whilst supporting such an amazing charity at the same time. I greatly admire the work that Dementia Jersey does to support islanders and their families affected by Alzheimer’s and I’d love to help ensure that they get the same quality of care and assistance that myself and my family received.’
