Here are some of the ways you can get involved and raise valuable funds to help make Jersey a dementia friendly island.
50 Mile Challenge
1st - 31st January 2023
We’re challenging everyone to get their steps in this January to help raise funds to support people living in Jersey with dementia.
Walk, run or skip, it’s up to you! All you need to do is complete 50 miles throughout the month of January. That’s roughly 1.6 miles a day – ditch the car and walk to work, you won’t just get your miles in, but you’ll save money on petrol and parking too!
This event has now passed but will be back in January 2024!
20th & 21st May 2023
Want to get the adrenaline pumping whilst raising valuable funds for Dementia Jersey?
Challenge yourself this May and abseil 27 metres down Val de la Mare dam. Help raise valuable funds for Dementia Jersey whilst enjoying unforgettable views of St.Ouen’s Bay from this unique location.

Dementia Awareness Week
22nd - 28th May 2023
Help us raise awareness and valuable funds by getting involved in Dementia Awareness Week.
This year we’re focusing on risk reduction.
We have a number of events and activities planned to help raise awareness of the steps we can take to reduce our risk, dementia in general and the support available to those living with and affected by dementia in Jersey.
1st - 30th June 2023
We’re challenging everyone to cycle 100 miles in June to help raise funds to support people living in Jersey with dementia.
This challenge can be done on a pedal, electric or gym bike. All you need to do is complete 100 miles throughout the month of June. Ditch the car and cycle to work, you won’t just get your miles in, but you’ll save money on petrol and parking too!

Jersey France Swim
29th July 2023
If you’re looking for an epic Summer swim challenge, the Jersey France Challenge is the one for you!
The Jersey France Challenge is roughly 14 miles and is open to teams of 2-6 people, each competing head-to-head to be the first team to cross the finish line in France. Individuals can be assigned to a team.

Join our Memory Walk to remember loved ones and raise funds to support people in Jersey living with dementia.
Our Memory Walk is for those who have lost people with dementia, those with family or friends currently living with dementia, or for people who simply want to help raise money and awareness for a good cause.

Fundraise for Dementia Jersey
We love it when people approach us with fundraising ideas like skydiving, marathons, bingo evenings and quiz nights. If you have a challenge planned or would like to chat through an idea, please get in touch.
You can help us to make Jersey a truly dementia friendly community by committing time to host a learning event for your staff or friends, support us as part of your CSR programme either by fundraising or offering your skills and experience, or perhaps you have a great event idea that we can work on together.
