Saturday saw the final run take place, which was a memorial run for Adrian, taking a route which started at La Haule care home leading to the Le Quennevais track, which was enjoyed by Adrian’s father, past his late parents’ home then ending at Silver Springs.
So far Adrian has raised over £1K!
Adrian said “I decided to take on and run the full distance Ports of Jersey Runway Challenge 21, and raise funds for Dementia Jersey, in memory of my Dad, Brian, who sadly passed away from Vascular Dementia in February of this year. It is completely heart-breaking to see someone you love go through the currently inevitable decline that comes with Dementia, but I am immensely grateful to the care he was given during that time, and also so impressed with the help and support that Dementia Jersey gives to people and families going through this difficult time in life.”
